"Con una sola palabra de mando, requisito, sugestión." Idiomáticamente quiere decir rápidamente, inmediatamente. The workmen obeyed the boss orders at a word from him: Los obreros obedecieron las órdenes del jefe inmediatamente.

Según dictionary.com significa "In immediate response to an order or request; in an instant: At a word they came to take the situation in hand."
