Pass the buck

Quiere decir "Eludir responsabilidad". Passing always the buck you will go nowhere: Eludiendo siempre la responsabilidad no irá a ninguna parte. También se dice "Pass the baby" y puede aplicarse así: It was my fault but I could pass the baby: Era culpa mía, pero puede eludir la responsabilidad.

Dictionary.com hubiera hecho muy contento a mi abuelo: To shift responsibility or blame to another person: Never one to admit error, he passed the buck to his subordinates.
